Each Practice Test consists of 12 random questions (the pass mark is 9) and there is no time limit. The questions in the Practice and Full tests are of four types as in the "British citizenship test" (click here to view the four types). After each run through the test the result is displayed on screen and a report may be printed. Practice Tests may be taken as many times as the user wants to practice and learn from answering the questions (each test will be different).

To help users while they’re practicing, they can look up certain words and phrases in the GLOSSARY. These are highlighted in a darker shade of blue and underlined. As the mouse pointer moves over one of these highlighted words or phrases it turns green and clicking it with the left-hand mouse button will display the meaning of the word or phrase.

The Practice Tests contain full human, English speech throughout.
